Needy Scholarship
The Needy scholarship extends assistance to financially deprived undergraduates of the Faculty of Agriculture by providing a monthly stipend to continue their academic program without any obstacles. Applications are now open for the academic year 2021/2022. If you are having financial difficulties engaging in studies and not receiving any other scholarship such as Mahapola and Bursary you are encouraged to apply. Please note that only limited scholarships are available and the academic performances of the selected students will be monitored regularly.
How to Apply
· Download the application from the faculty website
· Complete all fields in the application
· Provide necessary supporting documents
o e.g. Grama niladari statement, Family income (salary particulars), any health-related issues, etc.
Submit the application to the Assistant Registrar’s office on or before 23rd February 2024, and on the left-hand corner of the envelope, label it as 'Application for the Needy Scholarship’
